Blog Action Day Arrives

Just in case you haven't heard yet, today is Blog Action Day. This day was designed to spread the word about climate change and it's devastating effects. If you would like to participate click here to visit their website.

If you have been following this blog you know that there is already overwhelming evidence that climate change is being caused by humans, yet no real action is taken here in the states on a federal level. I only hope that our next president will have a little more going on upstairs instead of change jiggling in his pocket from his oil company kickbacks...

With more and more people getting behind this movement maybe we can actually make a change before George W. Bush is out of office, but the way our government moves like a snail I kinda doubt anything will be done... sad really, but who know maybe I will be pleasantly surprised and our planet won't be doomed, but as more and more time passes I fear we have already passed the tipping point.

  2. Dear 1Green Thumb,

Thank you for participating in Blog Action Day.

    I did not participate.

However, I did write a belated post about an issue that is important to me. As a real estate agent in Minneapolis, I see a lot of people using a product in luxury homes that is very destructive in a number of ways. It may also be contributing to the changes in the environment. Check out this post, please:

Brazilian Teak Floors, Slave Labor, and the Destruction of the Rainforest.

You can find this post at:

Anything you can do to share this link or help promote awareness of this issue will be greatly appreciated. Most luxury home owners are unaware of the environmental and human cost of these products.

    Thank you!
