An Inconvenient Truth (The Entire Movie)

This is the entire film... Who knows it might give you a little different perspective on the way we live. As with the tobacco companies, the oil industries dirty money can only hold back scientists so long before the evidence just becomes too overwhelming....

The Denial Machine

Amazing how the press and our governments are so easily manipulated. This was an eye opening look at how oil companies try to murky the waters on the scientific debate of global warming. I really can't believe some of the "scientists" would show their faces on camera with some of the things that they say...

Wake Up and Smell The Methane

This was by far one of the better pieces on Global Warming and Climate Change. It was released today on Google Video by the BBC. This video shows the effects on our plant from places like Siberia, The Amazon River, and Antarctica. Carbon dioxide levels have grown to record levels of 380 parts per million and are climbing twice as fast as in the 1970's. The Amazon River is drying up and the permafrost all around the world is melting, releasing Methane gas which is only accelerating the problem. Please take a little time out of your day to watch this informative video and let your voice be heard.....

Climate Change Via The Discovery Channel

It is clips like this that give me hope that maybe it will be our generation that actually makes a difference and changes the course of history. The more the press gets ahold of stories like this the better, you can only fool the people for so long. Sure seems like it is now or never though, you can see more evidence of recent climate change in Greenland's forming islands or this easy to follow piece by the BBC on The acceleration of global warming.

Tibet is Turning into a Desert

China's Yellow River is drying up, vast grassland turn into desert.

Halong Glaciers in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the source of China's Yellow River, have shrunk by 17% during the past 30 years. This could leave the region without glaciers by the end of the century and is an alarming sign of climate impact on the source of China's mother river- the Yellow River.

Tomorrows Climate, Todays Challenge

At least the UK is making any effort to spread the word about climate change, I wish I could say the same for our government.

Too Late to Save Mount Everest?

The melting of Himalayan glaciers has swollen the Himalayan lakes, increasing the risk of catastrophic flooding. There is wide agreement that many lakes are at risk, but a lack of monitoring limits realistic assessments of how close they are to bursting.
