This video from Russia Today discusses some of the effect that are already being felt in Siberia. As some of you might know the permafrost that is under the ground in places like Siberia is actually melting! Unfortunately this will act as a snowball effect, as the permafrost melts, not only is it destabilizing all the land around it, it is also releasing methane and other greenhouse gases that have been trapped in the ground.
