Well we didn't manage to beat last years record thaw in the Arctic, but this years melt was the second worst on record in the Arctic. A disturbing trend has been forming over the past few decades and it looks like things are only going to get worse. Remember all of this melting is just going to increase the Snowball Effects of Global Warming. The more ice that is melted the more heat is absorbed by the darker seas.
